Jordan's Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh said that the country's entrepreneurship sector is ranked fourth regionally, with 17 venture capital funds for entrepreneurial projects and more than 40 incubators and accelerators. The government has signed agreements with seven training providers to train university graduates. Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Minister Ahmad Hanandeh said the National Policy on Entrepreneurship has an executive plan with over 22 projects, and investment volume in start-ups has reached JOD 120m (USD 169.0mn) in 2021, up from JOD 20mn the year before.
