Startup Internship Program

Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship launched the Startup Internship Program as part of its National Entrepreneurship Policy, in collaboration with INJAZ, with the aim of supporting startups across all governorates of the Kingdom and strengthening their capacities by connecting them with qualified graduates.  The program seeks to enable graduates to gain meaningful, hands-on work experience within startup environments, while simultaneously supporting startups with young, skilled talent—contributing to business growth, innovation, and sustainability.

The program provides salary support for interns for a period of 9 months, amounting to JOD 400 per month, inclusive of social security contributions. Interns are selected through a transparent and competitive process, after which they are placed within local startups where they benefit from:

  • Practical, on-the-job training within startups
  • Professional mentoring and career guidance
  • Specialized training delivered through accredited training centers

Phase One Results

During its first phase, the program supported 64 startups and enabled the employment of 100 interns from various academic and professional backgrounds, demonstrating a positive impact on both startups and participating graduates.
