TechForward - Connecting Universities, Graduates & SMEs to Drive Innovation
TechForward is an int@j-led initiative, proudly supported by the Innovative Private Sector Development Approaches for Employment Promotion (I-PSD) Project, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).The primary beneficiaries of the I-PSD project are the key pillars of Jordan’s industrial economy: the Food, Chemical, and Engineering production sectors.
The initiative bridges universities, private sector companies, and public institutions across all economic sectors — closing the gap between academic graduation projects and real-world market needs. The result: tangible value for both students and businesses. Through hands-on experience, students develop practical and professional skills, including problem-solving, teamwork, digital literacy, and innovation, while companies gain access to fresh ideas, creative solutions, and emerging talent. At its core, TechForward empowers companies from all sectors to tap into youth creativity and develop market-ready digital solutions through a three-way collaboration model:
-
Universities: Faculty members supervising ICT-related graduation projects
-
Students: Final-year students developing impactful, technology-driven projects
-
Companies & Institutions: Businesses seeking innovative solutions to real challenges
